Where are your servers located?
All of our high-performance servers are located in the state of the art carrier class data facility in Houston, Texas & Vancouver BC.

Do you have an IP address I can test with ping and traceroute?

How many sites do you host on each server?
We do not have a predefined limit, nor can we give you an estimate. Resource usage is continually evaluated on each server to ensure there are no bottlenecks in the serving of your web pages. You’ll find each and everyone of our servers extremely responsive as we never overload our servers.

Who monitors your servers?
NAC monitors our servers 24hrs a day 7 days a week, hence we are alerted to any problems within minutes, we have an arrangement with the data center to immediately notify us and begin troubleshooting any problems.

What OS do your servers run?
Our servers run Red Hat Enterprise 3.0 Server. Linux is a robust, highly efficient, multi-user, stable and reliable operating system. Linux runs the vast majority of Internet web sites; we estimate that over 45% of web sites utilize Linux servers. It is important to note that our services are not platform dependent, and of course you can upload files and manage your web site from any version of Windows.

What web server software do you run?
We run the Apache web server software. According to Netcraft, Apache is the most dominate web server on the planet, and powers over 56% of websites.

Do you offer any uptime guarantee?
We aim for 100% monthly uptime. If uptime falls below 99.75% for the month we will credit your account with 1 month of service, this guarantee excludes planned maintenance (which you will be notified in advance of) and system reboots.

Billing and Fee Questions

What currency are your rates listed in?
All of our rates are listed in US dollars.

What is the billing schedule?
We bill every On or around the First day of the month Pay Pal subscriptions excluded.

Will my credit card be charged automatically every 30 days?
Yes, unless otherwise specified, the credit card on file will be automatically charged every 30 days or yearly whichever aplies.

What happens if I don't pay for my account?
Your account will be suspended and your web site will not be accessible. Your account will then be deleted at the discretion of the company. It is your responsibility to ensure payments are made on time.

Is there a minimum contract or commitment?
Not at all. You can leave whenever you wish. Any fees paid up to the cancellation date will not be refunded (partially or in full).

Are you able to bill quarterly or yearly?
Yes, we are offering the yearly payment option at discounted rates.

What happens if I exceed my bandwidth or disk space quota?
We will usally contact you in advance to discuss possible options,but it is ultimately your responsability to ensure that you are not using more resorrces than you have purchased. Bandwith ovrages are billed at 1.80 per gig over we will never bill you for extra disk space without your explicit agreement first.

I only need a fraction of your Bronze Plan , can I get a discount?
Unfortunately not. Our plans are preset, in order to maintain a high-level of service we can not offer anything less than our Bronze Plan. We do offer upgrades to every plan upon request.

Does it cost anything to upgrade my account?
There are no extra charges for upgrading your account, just the increase in monthly billing from the next billing date and a pro-rata charge for the difference in price for the remaining days in the month.

Does it cost anything to downgrade?
No, you can downgrade at any time, your lower monthly fee will come into force the next time you are billed. Any fees paid up to the downgrade date will not be refunded (partially or in full).

We do allow adult-sites or sites containing erotic material as long as they are legal and do not contain any copyrighted material.

Can I upload MP3s for download by visitors?
You can use your web space as you please. Hence as long as you have distributions rights and own the copyright on the MP3s then you can upload them. You can not store or publish MP3s for which you do not own the copyright or have permission to distribute.

Do you host warez, appz or serialz websites?
We do not host any warez related websites.

Can I host a VBulletin, PHPBB or InvisionBoard forum?

What control panel do you issue to clients?
Every account created comes with CPanel 9. CPanel is a fully-featured web-based control panel that allows you to manage your domain through a web interface. The idea is to transfer as much of the control and responsibility of managing your web site to you. You have the ability to manage all aspects of email, files, backup, FTP, CGI scripts, MySQL and web site statistics.

Do you have a demo of the control panel?
Yes. On the bottom-left on our website just click on the cPanel image to view it.

Can I create, modify and delete e-mail accounts from the control panel?
Yes, you can create, modify and delete mail accounts, forwarders, autoresponders, filters and mailing lists in realtime from within the control panel.

How do I access my web based email?

I receive lots of emails that are not addressed to me, how can I stop this?
In your control panel click on 'Mail', click on 'Default Address', click on 'Set Default Address', type :fail: in the box for your domain, then click 'Change'.

What are my domain POP3 and SMTP servers?
POP3 and SMTP servers are: mail.yourdomain.com

Do you have a Spanish/German/Japanese version of the control panel?
At this time our control panel themes are in english, spanish, french, german, catalan, romanian and turkish only.

Technical Support and Customer Care Questions

How soon will my account be setup?
All accounts are setup within 24 hours from the time you ordered it.

Is technical support free?
Technical support is available free to all clients. If you are having a problem with your account we will troubleshoot it for you and if necessary correct the problem. This does not include help with development, fixing script errors or aiding in your website creation in anyway.

Do you offer 24hr 7day a week support?
Our support center and email address are checked every few hours, every day of week, throughout the year. We aim to respond to all clients within 3hrs, however as many clients have found we often respond within the hour, sometimes within minutes.

What happens in an emergency?
In the event of an emergency you can rest assure that we already working on a resolution to the problem. Our servers are continually monitored by the data-center technicians which are on hand 24hrs a day for hands-on that may required on any of our servers.

Yes, you can run as many mailing list on your account as you wish.

Can I install my own mailing list software?
Yes, you can write your own or use already available scripts, see http://www.hotscripts.com for a complete list of mailing list scripts available for use.

Can I send spam or unsolicited e-mail?
No, absolutely not, sending of spam or unsolicited mass e-mailing will result in immediate suspension and more than likely the termination of your account. This includes mailing lists which falsely advertise themselves as opt-in lists. Be warned read our TOS fo mor info!

CGI/Perl Questions

Where must .cgi files be placed?
CGI files must be placed in 'CGI-BIN' directory in your 'PUBLIC_HTML' folder and chmod to 755.

How do I upload cgi files?
Upload CGI files via FTP. However ensure the transfer mode is ASCII to avoid problems.

Which version of Perl is available?
All of our servers have Perl 5.8 installed.

What is path of Perl?
